Meetings with To The Mountains And Back

To The Mountains And Back are trio that consists of Ceri, Will and Piglet their dog who travel around in their sprinter conversion and host an amazing website of resources, ideas and tips for van builds, life on the road and earning a remote income. They are the community inspiration of our brand. They began fully embracing the sun on a trip to the most Northern Norway. You can see why they are our vanlife scandi inspiration right !
Most vanlifers head for the sun, but for Ceri, Will and Piglet it is the cold that draws them and having a host of resources for winter survivial is hard to find and here you will find it.
During our first lockdown we aproached Ceri and Will to interview them on what first drew them to having a tiny living space.
We get an insite into their personality, their trips and what they truly admire about the Stitcha brand that sets us away from others.
What first drew you to having a tiny space ?
Mainly our desire to spend more time on the road. We wanted to travel as much as possible, but have somewhere comfortable we could work and sleep, as well as be able to take our dog with us. A converted can was the ideal option.
When lockdown is over and later we can explore where would you like to visit ?
We were planning to head back to Norway this summer before all pans went out of the window ! We love Scandinavia and could happily spend months exploring there. We’d also like to see more of Eastern Europe as neither of us hae really explored that area.
Would you make any hanges to your Tiny Space ?
We seem to always be making small changes! During lockdown we’ve changed our front fan to a Maxxair so we can still use it in the rain and snow. We’ve also altered one of our benches so we can pull it out so it’s more comfortable for chilling out on !
If you could rebuild any kind of space as a home what would it be ?
I think converting one of the really old fashioned ski cable cars would be amazing. Not sure they’d be big enough to live in but the vintage ones look so quirky!
Which is your favourite Stitcha design and why ?
I love the van design, I think it captures really wwell many of the aspects of van life and the activities we love.
What do you love about Stitcha ?
We love supporting small businesses. The designs are simple but beautiful and perfect for tiny spaces.
Thank you @tothemountainsandback
